Miro Blockout / Modesto

Modesto: The Fabric Box™ Roller Miro Blockout Modesto

Colours

Miro Modesto combines flowing brushstrokes of muted sage, smoky grey and soft charcoal across a warm off-white background. The irregular horizontal marks resemble gentle ripples on water, giving this watercolour-inspired design a calm, contemporary character. Its layered tones work beautifully with natural wood, soft greens and relaxed neutral interiors. The blackout fabric blocks light passing through the material, making this patterned roller blind a practical option for bedrooms, children’s rooms and nurseries where reduced daylight is welcome.

Measuring guide

Fit type 01

Recess fit

For recessed blinds, measure the width and height of the recess itself. Do not make any deductions — just enter the raw, unadjusted measurements.

Width

Measure the width of your window recess in three places — top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest measurement as your width.

Drop

Measure the drop of your window recess in three places — top, middle and bottom. Use the smallest measurement as your drop.

Depth

Check your recess depth for any obstructions, e.g. window handles. Ensure there is at least 5 cm at the shallowest point in the recess.

Fit type 02

Exact fit

For an exact fit, measure the area you would like the blind to cover. We build the blind to the exact size you provide, so allow for a little overlap to reduce light gaps at the edges.

A horizontal arrow spanning a blind hung outside the recess, showing the exact width it should cover.

Width

Measure the width you would like the blinds to cover. We recommend adding 5 cm overlap each side (10 cm total).

Drop

Measure the height you would like the blinds to cover. We recommend adding 7 cm overlap at the top and 5 cm at the bottom (12 cm total).
